Employee Benefits Producer
OPPORTUNITY: Insurance Associates is a locally owned independent insurance agency based in Green Bay and is currently looking to add to our staff of 27 with the addition of a sales person/producer to help with expansion in our group health insurance and employee benefit department. Health insurance premiums are skyrocketing and employers are uncomfortable with the 15%-50% increases. Those whose agents are not attentive to their concerns are very willing and open to discuss new options and alternatives. We feel that our service department and renewal process are properly designed to help attract and retain accounts through customer satisfaction.
PROFILE: Required - Self starting, goal oriented, creative, positive and professional appearance and attitude. Comfortable making cold calls and developing relationships. Long term player.
Optional - Knowledge of the insurance industry, sales experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Make all customers comfortable, happy and satisfied. Call on new accounts (area employers) to fill their health insurance and employee benefit needs. Determine need, obtain census information, quotes from companies, make proposals, gather applications, service renewals. Sources of leads include cold calls, networking, seminars and working with existing customers. Candidate will be responsible to call on and build their own "Book of Business."
INCOME: Base salary, benefits and car allowance flexible and determined to meet needs and ability. Pay will be reviewed based on quarterly results. Income of $75,000 to $110,000+ expected within 5 years.
